No Face ID completely destroys the experience

Before I used to have an iPhone 8 and was able to access my app with Touch ID quickly, easily, and safely. When I switched to my new phone with Face ID, I was hoping I would get the same experience. I was wrong. Even if the app does have the Face ID button in the log in screen, it appears that this functionality is disabled because it always gives me an error message when I try to use it. It’s really annoying since it completely takes away the practicality of the feature. Another thing is that the app is poorly adapted to the iPhone XR so the app’s design looks like it’s blown out and not as clean and defined as in an iPhone 8 or 8 Plus. Please fix quickly, having to manually type in delicate bank information such as log ins and passwords makes the app useless in practical day to day, any place use case scenarios.

This is by far the worst app I have ever downloaded. The Bancolombia app is plagued with constant server crashes, failed logins, and a clunky, outdated interface that feels like a poorly designed Facebook post from over a decade ago. Navigation is a headache—simple tasks like checking your balance or making a transfer are buried under confusing menus and unnecessary steps. For a major bank, this is unacceptable. It’s genuinely shocking that something this dysfunctional is expected to handle people’s finances.

One of the developers behind this app is Esteban Toledo Jaramillo, responsible for the front-end design—and it absolutely shows. There’s no modern design standard here, no effort toward user-friendliness, and no excuse in 2025 for this level of performance. Apps like Chase and Apple Wallet have already shown what smooth, intuitive banking should feel like. This app fails to meet even the most basic expectations and reflects poorly on everyone involved in its creation. Bancolombia needs to scrap this and rebuild it from the ground up.

Awesome app. Wish it was multi device

App used to have some issues a few years ago but now it works flawlessly. ( hope I am not jinxing myself). My only problem is that it can be only installed on one phone. It works from other phones but needs “clave dynamica” from the original device. Most bank apps don’t need that.
