Let’s find out! Barksense can turn your tablet or old phone into a robust dog monitor. It uses AI to track dog sounds while ignoring all background noise. You will see if your dog was quiet or not. If it gets noisy for too long you can get an email alert. You can also review the recorded barks and figure out if your dog was provoked by something like a siren. If you're concerned with privacy, Barksense can work completely offline since it does not use any internet servers for bark detection.

Excellent!

I have a barking neighbor dog when the neighbor wasn’t home and I wanted an ap to document it to both show to the neighbor and for proof for a barking nuisance law suit if I needed to bring one. This program (ap) is far better than I expected. It both records and counts the barks and intervals between barks and shows a graph of barks over time . Very well done! I want to thank the programmer and congratulate him on it. I also want to make a donation. Too many people suffer needlessly from barking dogs and it is too easy for bad dog owners to deny it is happening or trivialize it. I feel I deserve to not be awaken at 6:30 every morning to the neighbor’s barking dog and this will help me to realize my dream and dreaming!

Awesome App

I have a new dog who has being doing some barking and especially howling when I leave her at home alone. Without this app, I’d have no way to accurately measure when and for how long she’s making noise. The app helps me to measure the success of my efforts and how well she is settling into a new environment.

The app is easy to use, allowing users to view a day at a glance, or to drill down for more detail. It will even send notifications, if you wish.

It’s been rock-solid reliable!!

Helps for monitoring

This is great when a neighbor believes your dog is barking. Unfortunately, it can only be used when u are home or one app at a time.
