Wanted to gather stats for my daughter's softball team and this app has down the job. There is a bit of a learning curve, but the video tutorials help with most of the basics. My daughter's elementary league has a 5 run rule and figuring how to end an inning early on the fly was not intuitive, however accomplished by tapping the out button on the last batter until a third out shows up after tallying all runs. Also be sure to put jersey numbers for players before they bat or else you'll have issues with scoring the players. It would be nice if they had a clear batter name "X" in the field to make editing easier. I use the random fill lineup for the opposing team for teams I haven't filled a roster in before, and renaming the players would be a lot faster if I could clear the field with a simple tap instead of holding the backspace button. Minor gripes for an amazing free app. Highly recommend giving it a try.

  • A must have app for baseball scoring

Absolutely awesome... I cannot give you guys enough praises for the video instructions included. This app is easy enough for first time users and detailed enough for the experienced scorers. I love the attention to detail your staff utilizes. I've used the app for my entire season of little league and high school games, and any question or concern I've had has been addressed by your staff via email. Which reminds me, I would like to see a way to group my games at startup because, I score three different leagues and its a pain trying to search for a game to go over stats with my boys.P.S. I am so excited about the upcoming basketball app you're working on also. I have recommended you to every parent and league that asks me about the app. Keep up the great work!!

K-ForCE has been regularly updated and continues to be one of the mire useful scoring apps around. This iPhone version is easy to use with just your thumb. Advancing the runners happens automatically (when they are forced) and if they are not forced, a quick thumb tap and they are advanced. I've been keeping a six-team league and 23 game season on this app and the stats are great and easy to input into Excel if needed but I get the info I need from the reports generated automatically. I gotta believe that those who rate this app low have not used it. There is a learning curve but Rekonza provides video tutorials to help you along. Keep up the great work.

  • Pretty decent scoring app...

First thing... I downloaded iScore and it worked well, except for the rude fact that you have to tediously enter every player on the major league rosters for teams you want to score, or pay another $20 fee PER YEAR to get the data. KForce downloads them for free, which makes their program superior. It is actually usable. Is it perfect? No. I'd like to see a more intuitive undo process. But hey, baseball scoring is complex, and with a little practice this app works very well. The only other thing I would like is prettier output when printing the final scorecard.Good app. Works well. Even better if you have an iPad.

Superb scoring app. Takes a few games to become reasonably proficient, but it's a lot of fun learning. Definitely keeps my mind from wandering too far afield when I'm watching a game. I really like the free annual MLB and minor league rosters...something other apps charge for considerably. Un-doing a mistake is a bit time consuming, but that's to be expected I suppose. Tutorials especially helpful. Would like to see Balls above Strikes on the display, consistent with balls before strikes in the count, but otherwise it's everything I could want in an app for recreational scoring.

  • Needs a better intro tutorial

I know how to keep score ... however I wasn't clear on what to enter in the field right after the position...the options were numbers 1-25 or so. Is this for substitutions in innings past 9? For position numbers ie catchers as 2 etc ? Something else?Simply labeling them would be a great start...or even have the voice over in the tutorial video SAY what he's entering as he does it! Some learning curve with how to enter caught stealing, and advance runners etc but on the whole a good app. Worth ten bucks for the full version...maybe, after "mastering" the free one!
