Fun and functional (helped pass NPTE)

I installed this app to receive an increased variety of information. A strong point of the arena is the ability to challenge other graduates.

At times you can get the first question wrong or you can get 30 questions correct in a row depending on your aptitude.

Overall it worked great for me, I went over around 3,000+ questions the month before the exam. This is not including all the practice tests I took.

You can keep track of your questions by bookmarking each question you attempt. Then you can view the amount of questions bookmarked in your study stack.

Of course you can choose to bookmark only questions that are difficult for you, it’s your choice. I wish you all success.

Ads and repeating questions

This app is helpful in providing useful and helpful questions as they apply to the NPTE. However, if I paid for Basecamp I should not get ads for your products after missing a question. It is super distracting and honestly really annoying to see. Put it in a separate tab on the app if you want to market more of your products. The questions get repetitive and took me maybe 10 minutes to see repeating questions. When you get an answer right or wrong it only gives you the answer for why the answer is right, but does not say what the wrong answer would be related to. An example being if the question asks about what structure in the muscle monitors muscle tension, it will tell you about GTO but doesn’t say what Muscle Spindle monitors. Definitely should look into restructuring the way answers are given as well as removing ads for those who already paid for basecamp.

Thanks for your feedback. It is possible to see repeating questions over time, however, Climb and King of the Mountain collectively offer over 6,000 questions and therefore this should be relatively uncommon. In addition, repetition of core concepts is useful to commit information to long term memory. The app was designed to offer different explanations based on whether you  answered the question correctly or incorrectly. Frankly this was purposeful for two reasons. The first is that we felt that if you answered the question correctly we wanted to offer you something additional, perhaps about the incorrect option. Conversely, if you answered the question incorrectly, we wanted to explain to you why the correct option was correct. Secondly, it was important for us to not include lengthy explanations in the app since the academic based nature of the question did not warrant this type of explanation and it was critical to us that the game play remained snappy. As a side note, you will see far more lengthy and exhaustive explanations in our products that utilizing licensing-like questions such as our review book and Online Advantage. 

A single static ad will appear once every seven games. The ads are a mix of educational tips, motivational pieces, and Scorebuilders’ cross promotions, all of which can be clicked out of with a single click. Thanks again for the feedback.

Big fan of this app, it is building up my confidence, only thing I recommend is sometimes when you get the same question. I wish the answers were jumbled so they aren’t in the same place
