App is used as a Scorekeeper and League Manager; to create and manage 1-v-1 indoor baseball leagues, one-off games and player statistics. You cannot play this game alone or exclusively on your device. Game Mode scoring can be managed by one or both players (generally whomever is pitching) or ideally, a 3rd party umpire.

Call Balls and Strikes, put runners on base and hear the crowd roar for Home Runs. Users can play 3, 6 or 9 inning games and Best of 3, 5 or 7 Series versus Friends. Find local friends to play with or enter competitive Tournaments like the annual World Series, for potential cash and other prizes, at State, Regional and National levels.

Remember, the Basement Baseball App supports an actual game being played 1-on-1 in a physical, preferably indoor, space. For tips on how to setup your Home Field, in as little as 100 square feet, visit ideally using the Basement Baseball Starter Kit; or you can also use your own equipment, if you have it. All you need is a soft (foam) ball, foam or wiffle ball bat and some furniture pads to use as bases.

App is really simple, and really addictive. The kids play at home both indoors and out, keeping their scores and stats on the iPad!

good but buggy

I enjoy this game. It’s really nice to choose what happens in a baseball game. But every time I would exit the app and try to get back into the app, it is stuck on the loading screen. Otherwise it’s a good game. Would recommend.

Highly engrossing app

Basement Baseball is intuitive, well-designed, and easy to use, and makes for an excellent complement to analogue play.
