What Apple Should Have Done

Seriously, why is a small developer doing a better job with this?

This helps me keep my Mac and iDevices all synced

Developer Response ,

❤️ thank you so much. This is really encouraging.

Great idea, but some minor flaws in execution…

Good job, but rather simplistic. It’s fantastic to be able to see my iPad Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and Apple Watch batteries in one app. But there are a few reasons I gave it a lower rating: Most importantly, the app initially doesn’t recognize all devices. The developer responded in my first review that you have to open the app on each device for it to show up. But that should be clearly stated in the instructions, and it is not there. The app does not recognize AirPods Pro, and cannot give you the battery status. The Apple Watch complication is OK, but only shows my iPad status unless I click on it. There is no way to re-order the devices so that my Apple Watch is the default widget view on the watchface. Developer claims features such as changing device icons, but there is no menu option to allow it. Not sure why Apple couldn’t do something like this. Definitely needs clearer instructions. It’s a very simple program, and should be able to connect all these devices into one app.

Developer Response ,

Please install and launch the app on all the devices you own (eg. iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac). You can put a watch face complication on your Apple Watch and HomeScreeen Widget on iPhone to be able to glance at the battery levels of all your devices. Hope this helps. Please update the rating if you figure it out. Thanks.

Total Waste of $5

This app starts off amazing. You see all your devices and lo and behold you see their battery/charge status. But after time you realize that it doesn't update in real time, and then only does so after you open the battery app (again) on your other devices, which is sort of ridiculous. Developer is also not being truthful about a no-questions-asked refund within 14 days. You are NOT able to do so via the "Report a Problem" process the developer instructs you to. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP AND SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Developer Response ,

Hi there, It’s just a misunderstanding imo. You have to put battery widget on your homescreen on iPhone to be able to update battery status in the background. Similarly, on your Apple watch you have to use battery complication. Thank you
