I just don’t know what to think because I’m not a major techie. Not simple anymore I’m afraid.

So, for a long time I had this app on my iPhone 7, and now on my iPhone XR. I also had it on my iPad as well. To begin with it started acting wonky (best way I know how to describe it), on my iPad so I deleted it problem solved I’m afraid. I then kept it on my iPhone 7 until it started doing the same thing. When I upgraded to iPhone XR, I thought I’d give it another shot, and worked fine until a couple of updates ago. there was a new nag background that stated something about the background. I’m afraid I just ignored it until this latest update because it’s extremely wonky and sounds alarm even when I open it before I even have it charging. It’s odd it’s like it has a mind of it’s own. So once again I uninstalled it because it’s not worth the hassle.
Here In lies the rub, I’d gladly send the developer a $5 if it worked right!! I’m not against paying I’ve done it with my photo apps, but so far they continue to work right from the free version before I paid for pro version. Just my way of thinking but if the free version doesn’t work, then why would I pay for a pro version?

Weird Shortcut Glitch

I really like this app! It only has one weird oddity if you open it up with a shortcut it doesn’t switch back to max it thinks it’s reading the low it but it keeps the The numbers from the max and alarm goes off. For instance if you have your max alarm set at 80 and you use it once with a shortcut, then turn it off and use it a second time with a shortcut he comes up pointing over to the low side but the number still reads 80 instead of 20, that’s a low sideIs sad too. It does this every time you come back after opening with a shortcut. Even if the next time it is opened manually. If you close it before you remove power it works right or you can toggle the Less Than or Equals to Greater Than or Equals manually. I would’ve sent the developer support a question but it just goes to a blank page with a link that says to come back here. I am running IOS1 5.5

Hate when app updates make things worse; “Pro” version too expensive

This used to be a decent app for me. I liked how I could lock the phone while it was charging and the alarm would sound right when it should and stop when it should. Then, in a sneak “update”, the formerly free background feature was removed and replaced with a message to buy the Pro version if you want it back. Would liked to be told that was going to happen before removing a feature I already had. Further, the app stupidly sounds the alarm now even when not charging, after the alarm had stopped, just by unlocking your phone with the battery at the alarm level. It never used to do this. Note to developers: an update should always be better than a previous version. Also, regarding the Pro version: $3 is too much for a useful little feature that only does one little thing, especially when it’s likely that the Pro version will have the same bug discussed above. If I were a developer, I would be thinking that zillions of people paying $0.30 or $0.75, making it a no-brainer, instead of a much smaller number of people paying $3, would be the way to go.
