Description
Battery Grapher graphs your historical battery levels and learns your habits to make smart predictions on what your future battery levels will be. Developed specifically with energy consumption in mind, Battery Grapher has almost no impact on battery life.
SMART PREDICTIONS
Battery Grapher uses historical battery levels to intelligently predict what your battery level will be throughout the rest of the day, allowing you to plan when to next charge your device. The longer you have Battery Grapher installed, the more accurate future battery level predictions will be.
LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION
Battery Grapher is made for people who want to extend the battery life, meaning that low energy usage is a priority. The app runs a background task only once an hour, and doesn't require a network connection, which keeps energy consumption extremely low.
CUSTOMIZABLE NOTIFICATIONS
Battery Grapher allows you to set notifications that fit your needs. You can get the app to notify you when you battery drops below a preset percentage, or if you only have a certain number of hours left before your battery runs out. (currently only available on watchOS)
ALL COMPLICATIONS & WIDGET SIZES SUPPORTED
Battery Grapher supports all complications & widget sizes. Complications can show hours before needing to charge, or battery %. Both complications and widgets are customizable from within the app.
What’s New
Version 2.0.5
- Fixed bug where Apple Watch complication would not show a predicted battery life of greater than 48h
Ratings and Reviews
Useful information about battery
I like the developer's interest and enthusiasm. This app is nice and displays useful info about my watch charge. For a first release version it works very well.
Some room for improvement. I'd like to see the accuracy improve quicker. It went from wildly inaccurate to somewhat close within a few days of use. The app actually tells you how accurate its predictions are. Until the hone in on your usage I'm afraid they aren't much use. Mine has gone from "very bad" to "ok" in about five days.
Some improvements I'd like to see are in the complication. I'd like to see both a battery % charge and the calculated time remaining together. Either text % and the "progress bar" as time left or text time left and the progress bar as %.
Worth the download. Hoping to see where this app goes in the next few months. Good luck!

Thank you! Yes, the accuracy takes a while to improve. After about 7-10 days the accuracy should be "very good". Unfortunately this is something that cannot be improved upon, since the app need to collect actual data in order to make accurate predictions.
You will be able to see the battery % in the next update! It should be out in a day or so.
Good concept but not accurate.
I like the apps design and the purpose of it, but it’s not always accurate. Sometimes you’ll see that the time remaining is waaayyy off. It can be fixed each time by going to the settings and switching the complication from “Hours until 0%” to “Battery %” and then back again. But the fact you have to do this (a few times a day sometimes) takes time I’m not willing to spend. It’s not much time but I can use math in my head to determine how much longer I have left faster. It’s frustrating because I want to love the app but I can’t having to do this extra task. I was really hoping to use this instead of my stock battery complication. I downloaded this the minute the developer announced it on reddit. So it’s not due to the app not having long enough to to calibrate. It actually seemed to get worse as the calibration got “better” according to the app itself.
Developer Response ,
Hi,
I am sorry that you are having issues with the app complication not updating. This bug occurred with only a few people, making it very hard to debug. This issue should be fixed in the latest update. I hope you can give my app another try!
Thanks,
Joshua Bird
Helped me @ the Apple Store
I can’t tell how effective Battery Grapher is at predictions, but it certainly helped me at the Apple Store when my battery indicator was acting weirdly. Basically, for hours on end, my watch appeared to be stuck at 100% charge, although I knew it wasn’t. Then it would suddenly plummet into power reserve mode. I took screen shots of the BG graphs and showed them to the person helping me and he immediately grasped the problem. The BG graphs were a close match to the diagnostics the Apple person ran on the watch and they accepted my watch for repair. It was my second attempt at the Apple Store. The first time I didn’t have the BG evidence and I got no satisfaction.

Wow that’s incredible! I am glad that my app was able to help you in such a practical way. I never even imagined that my app could be used for something like that!
