After over 2 years, I can’t find a better app

I’ve used Battery Monitor for close to 2½ years, so when I bought a new M4 Mac, I looked for an app that worked as well as this, but could also limit charging to 90%; in case I get busy, or fall asleep, etc. I hoped they would add it to this app, because it’s worked really well and I wanted to keep it. Long story short, I didn’t find one that I wanted; for now anyways. If you can get by without that feature, then this is definitely worth trying. By the way, if the app developers read this, you guys should consider adding this feature since it doesn’t seem Apple ever will. At least, add a bit of color to it, so it’ll liven up this plain menu bar. Thanks.

This app has all the information you will ever need, about your battery. This is an absolutely incredible app…being that it is a FREE APP. I see true potential in this app and hope it succeeds in developing as an app and developing consumers to healthier battery habits. I am using a MacBook Pro as the device I will be experimenting this app on. A poor performing battery obviously means a poor performining computer. Some people buy a new computer, but others can pass with buying a new battery for their computer to increase performance. It would be interesting to know lifetime stress test on replacement batteries. (Logs of each battery profile)

I was looking for a tool to help me track the relative health of my battery over time. This tool really takes the simple task of charging your Mac and uplevels it in some smart ways but without adding distraction or bloat. It just replaces the built in battery menu icon with it's own battery icon and adds a pop out menu which provides much richer informaiton about the status of your battery at a glance; and it provides valuable insite into what you should expect from your battery over time as the battery capacity degrades.
