Food for the Soul

I play BBN radio station in my home and while riding in my car. My grandson was excited one day as he heard reference being made to Josiah the boy king in the Bible. He said we learned about him during “Camp Praise” at church! Later that week his brother inquired of me why do I play this “type” of gospel station on the radio. I explained to him that he hasn’t been nor does he now eat the same food since birth because 1. It would not be healthy and 2. You would get bored. I further explained that the spiritual body needs a variety of food to be healthy and grow as our natural bodies. This “type” of gospel provides what I feel is a variety of spiritual food; gospel music (the music room), preaching (David Jeremiah and others), bible quiz, Christian’s true testimony (Unshackled), Bible study, something for children’, and much more. I rejoice for the day when my grandsons will be convinced and convicted by the Holy Spirit to turn their life over to God and become a disciple of Christ. Thank you for spreading the word of God so that the world cannot turn a deaf ear to the call of our Heavenly Father.

What does this station means to me

Well I came across BBN about 12 or 13 years ago and to me it was the most heartwarming station because it was very similar to “family radio” a program that I once respected supported and listened to. I like a lot of things about this program; I am more interested in Warren Weirsbe, Lehman Strauss, Vernon McGee, I once was really thrilled by “RZIM” until it’s destruction, love worth finding, insight for living, take a minute, and lastly the traditional songs it play on a daily basis.
My prayer for this station is that it will continue to recognize that God is its source, God is holding these great men together as they minister to the race to as much as those who hate him all over the world and bringing them to a saving knowledge by his powerful grace, His marvelous grace, His wonderful grace, through BBN. My radio my PC my iPhone oil ignited BBN I have a choice throughout the day.
I wish BBN the very best; may I go onto eternal life with Christ and BBN continues to reach lost souls; may God bless this ministry and those behind the microphone.

I have enjoyed BBN for for 34 yrs. I moved to Kansas in June of 1986, having just come out of the Crips hang out of South Central Los Angeles(Watts, CA.), through World Impact, an inner-city ministry based in Los Angeles. Being a new Christian, I didn’t know anything about Christian radio. My first introduction was to BBN, and I listened to Focus on the Family, and loved Adventures in Odyssey, and would go in to raise my kids on those wonderful shows. And, Turning Point with David Jeremiah around 5:30pm Central. So from June 1986 to today, April 2020, I’ve enjoyed BBN Radio out of Florence & Wichita, Kansas. Shows like the Conference Pulpit, Unshackled, which God blessed me to be featured on, and other great programs have been such a blessing to me. And the timeless hymns. Don’t ever abandon those. I rather listen to those
Over all of this contemporary stuff any day. They are in many ways, rich, and packed with testimonials and theology. Thanks for serving our Lord, BBN, in this way. God bless Mr. Davey(?), and all of those who serve with him, to bring glory to our Risen Lord. Take care!
