Great For Beginners

I would give this app 5 stars, but the basic strategy charts that they offer do not match the rest of the internet. For example a pair of 4’s should be split against a dealers 5 or 6! They say I should hit! I have to relearn some of the strategy chart now.

This is a great blackjack app!

Customizable, statistically correct, nice play, and, if you’ll pony up the $4 for the ‘pro’ version, no ads and no having to purchase chips. It’s perfect for learning basic strategies and simulating your favorite casino. Of course, the odds are thrown off a bit since it is single player (and in real casinos, additional players add another element of uncertainty), but close enough to test betting strategies and work on your blackjack skills. So far, I’ve been very happy with this app and glad I finally found it.

This game is rigged

I have now played over 1000 hands of blackjack with this app. It is absolutely rigged against the player. You can't win, no matter what. I have tried playing and following all their suggested hit/stands, and you still get wiped out quickly. I have tried playing my own strategy - the house always beats me by one point or so. OK, occasionally the house busts, but in the VAST majority of hands, the player has the cards stacked against him. I don't care what their description says about the randomness of their shuffles, it doesn't work that way. The bias is obvious once you play for a while. Uninstalling.
