Be Brave, Barb 9+

I would like to say, this game is very awesome with an all new twist on using gravity throughout the levels, and it takes place in the Dadish universe. These are two big things that are the best types of gameplay. I hope we see Barb and the rest of the gang again, maybe in her next game!

Oh how I want to love this game. It’s bright and colorful and happy. The 3D graphics are crisp and the audio is bouncy. And the feel of jumping from platform to platform is super fun - when it works. But there’s the rub: it doesn’t always work. Sometimes, Barb does one thing; sometimes, she does another thing. Sometimes, it’s what you meant to do; sometimes, it’s completely off the wall. If there are rules to how the gravity works, I can’t figure them out, as Barb is unpredictable. I’m stuck on level 13 and cannot get her to respond in a predictable way from one attempt to the next. Having played this level dozens of times, I’m stopping here until a fix comes.

The levels are great and there are many fun skips you can do. Just one thing is it’s so slooooow. Barb walks way too slow sometimes so you’re just waiting for her to walk across an empty thing. Maybe add if you hold on the left side of the screen she will start running faster or something. But that about the only bad thing about the game. It can get really tedious waiting for her to walk every time you die.
