This browser is almost perfect, and it’s very much what Arc should have been on mobile. I have had some page loading issues that could only be resolved by quitting and relaunching Beam. Thankfully, open tabs remain in place even after doing so, so even that hasn’t been too huge of a problem. I did successfully log into my Wix editor, something I’d struggled to do on the iPad in the past, but it was also one of the first sites that I experienced the loading issues with. I’ve also had some issues with pages returning errors (should have saved them, sorry!) and refusing to load entirely, regardless of the app quit/relaunch. If I recall, it was something security related? In any event, I am looking forward to an iPhone version. If Beam comes to macOS, too, I think I have my Arc replacement. And honestly, I’d love to see it on Windows so I can use it there, too lol. Lastly, I like that I can hide the Beam Intelligence from the command bar. I don’t have a habit of utilizing AI in my browsing, so that’s something I appreciate at least being able to hide. I fully understand that something this new won’t be perfect right out the gate, and I am willing to go through growing pains with a new app. I’m definitely excited to see where this goes!

This is a fantastic recreation of Arc’s best features along with some unique new ones! I’ve only had one issue, which is logging in with 3rd party accounts such as Google or GitHub. The page errors frequently. Outside of that, which I’m sure will get fixed fast, this is an amazing browser!

I’ve been waiting for this exact browser for years. Beam finally treats the iPad like a real computer, with a proper sidebar, spaces, and keyboard‑first design that make it feel closer to Arc/Zen than “Safari with a new skin.” The command bar, vertical tabs, and thoughtful shortcuts make multi‑project work actually manageable on an iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard.I’d love to see even deeper keyboard support over time (e.g., more Vim‑style navigation options), but even in its current form Beam has already become my default browser for real work on iPad.

I read these reviews, and I feared what we all do these days: these are paid comments or AI generated. Ultimately, I can’t speak to that fear, but I can tell you that this app is really amazing. It’s definitely at a solid level already. I’m coming to this as a hardcore Arc user, and I just want to say this is worth the switch from every other app in the iPad OS ecosystem right now.
