On Day 4 and have already noticed a difference in myself - namely calmness and being more grounded in social situations. I'd recommend making sure there won't be any distractions in your environment when you're listening. I especially like how you can tailor the same recording to your day's constraints in regards to timing and turning off the instructions.
An absolute favorite! Must have!
Love this meditation. It’s one of my two favorite Andrew Johnson apps. Terrific for getting centered, detaching from other people’s’ Stuff!! Great if you lean toward codependence(allowing others to determine how you feel about yourself.) This brief app is a lifesaving tool! Thank you!!
In response to the double negative complaint
For the person that complained about the double negatives not being appropriate for hypnosis, you my friend are the one that needs to brush up on your understanding of hypnotism. Double negatives in hypnosis are actually a standard and effective way to induce confusion in the mind which ultimately frees your subconscious up for recieving suggestions from the hypnotist. In other words while your mind attempts to work out the meaning of the double negative its guard is down and the hypnotist can follow with his message or suggestion. It has nothing to do with a negative message. Its only designed to get the desired message past the conscious brain. You may be thinking of negative suggestions. Those are not always good. The example thats often used is telling a child to bring a full glass of milk over but dont spill it. The negative message of telling him not to spill usually will result in him spilling it. That is completely different than double negatives & is not relevent here.
