I’m a small business owner and most of my checks are received digitally and I need to print them out. Whenever I try to use the mobile deposit feature, I receive an error message saying that I need to flatten the check or have the check placed on a dark surface in a well lit area. I’ve tried numerous times and it doesn’t work. Each time this happens I have to delete the app and install it again. Sometimes even after doing this the mobile deposit feature still doesn’t work. Very time-consuming and frustrating. Please fix right away.

This app functions well overall but could be better. For example, the personal banking app has budget, spending, and net worth data that at one time were included when the two were connected but now the business app does not. Also, some of the functions in this app require a second step to get to. Such as making a payment to a BECU credit card. This could be better optimized imo. Please update to include the above.

Numerous reports of this issue with ZERO resolution, in my case I’m a small business owner. Depending on square printable checks as forms of payment. Over 100 attempts with studio quality photos and receive the same annoying error about flattening the check and placing in well lit area with 4 corner within image. . . I’ve tried purposefully taking random pictures and it’ll still bring up the same error which means this app isn’t really working or analyzing anything within the photos. It’s simply broken and bugged on the most important feature today. . I’ll leave BECU for this alone
