Begone is a productivity app for iOS. It lets you block individual numbers or number ranges quickly and effortlessly. It can also act as a private directory for people or companies that you don’t want to add to your contacts but want to identify when called by. Begone uses a simple wildcard character mechanism to add numbers into its database. You can use the # character as the wildcard. For example, when you enter +1 212-555-#### to its block list, Begone blocks the numbers from +1 212-555-0000 to +1 212-555-9999. This way, you can immediately block tens of thousands of numbers with one simple entry. If you enter a number or number range to the directory list of Begone, the title you enter will be displayed as the Caller ID of a matching number when you receive a call. This way, you can remember who the number belongs to, without ever adding it to your contacts. You can easily import and export your configuration with a single tap. Then, you can share your lists with friends and family. Nice app. Can you please add an option to deny access to voicemail from numbers identified as spam/scams

Hi, Begone provides a list of numbers to block to iOS and iOS simply rejects the call. The voicemail configuration when a call is rejected can only be done by the operator.

This for myself is an Outstanding Performance unique App that works for me! It does what it says it does and the Developer has coded a Design that Blocks the numbers that needs to be blocked. I hope if you read this you will download the app and give it a try. I don’t believe you will be disappointed! ( really ) The app costs money but you will find that it is not really expensive. Yes I wish the was free, but Technology is not free and that being said it costs the Developer to create and run. So Mr. Developer I truly Tip my Hat 🎩 to you for creating a 5 Star ⭐️ app . Yup an amazing app that is totally unique Outstanding and greatly enhances my experience with blocking out the numbers that truly needs taking care of everyday! So Friends I hope you will give this app a try. And to the Developer “ Thanks “

Hi, thank you for your review. You can easily export your configuration to save for future uses with one tap. I am unable to add an iCloud backup option as the API to block numbers is very fragile. That’s why I decided to have the user do everything manually. I’ll work on the search option though.
