This iOS application is part of the Beiwe research platform used to collect research-quality smartphone sensor and usage data from subjects in clinical and non-clinical research studies. Only participants who have been invited to join a study, and have been provided both a user ID and a password, can use this application. The Beiwe research platform, including this application, is a project of the Onnela Lab at Harvard University. This work is supported by funding from the U.S. National Institutes of Health.
Please note, continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
The main change is to allow researchers to enable GPS fuzzing to confiscate participants' actual GPS location which helps to further detach the person from the recorded data.
