The reason we got the device was the ability to check in virtually on the loved one who is wearing it. This has been challenging because the app is “clunky”. For example: it doesn’t save the username and password—this makes it non-user-friendly for a quick check. Navigation within the app is not easy—for example, when tracking history, there is no “back” button—one has to close the app and re-log in your get back to the main screen. There is no way to update the personal information of the person wearing the device—essential to keep it current. The app crashes more frequently than acceptable. Lots of potential for this to be a powerful app—but not if it’s not updated regularly.
App will not open on iPhone
This app needs serious attention. It will not even open on my iPhone Xs. Tried to contact support by pressing the “support” link in the App Store and ended up on a page that says “the page you are looking for no longer exists”. I would rate this app ZERO stars.
Does not open on iPhone11. Does Lifefone know this doesn’t work? They keep pushing the app. This is a disaster if you are trying to find a loved one...
