Most apps count reps. BellSense coaches them. Now the coach watches your sets through the camera, speaks while you train, and answers when you ask. Free to start.
BellSense is a kettlebell coach. The app gives you the program, you log the work, and the next session adapts to what you actually did.
Make every rep matter.
How the coaching works, with just your phone
Pick a program. Each session tells you what to do. You log your sets and rate how they felt, and BellSense reads everything you give it: reps, effort ratings, volume, heart rate if you wear a monitor, and sleep, HRV, and resting heart rate through Apple Health, combined into a daily readiness score. Then it makes the call a coach would make: add, hold, or back off decided by your results and recovery, not a calendar.
You can also just ask the coach what to train. It reads your recent sessions and recovery, recommends one session, and tells you why or ignore it and train what you want.
All of that is free and stays free.
Training programs
Programs that run from weeks to months, beginner foundations to advanced power and density work, each with warm-ups, cool-downs, and accessory work. All twenty-six are free.
Workout modes
• Individual: one exercise, tracked round by round
• Alternating: two or three exercises paired and rotated each round
• Complex: several exercises chained back to back, tracked as one session
Live camera coaching
Prop your phone up and the camera counts your training as you do it — squats, presses, rows, swings, and snatches, free. The Swing Trainer reads every swing live with a verdict on each rep. With BellSense+ Live, the coach also speaks while you work.
After every session
• The coach's read on how the session went, tied to your own data
• The progression call for next time
• Volume and trend charts that build week over week
The bell sensor
BellSense started as a small sensor that mounts on the kettlebell. It is in development, not for sale yet, and the app never requires it.
BellSense+
An optional subscription. Your coach reads each session and tells you what the numbers mean, with weekly and monthly reviews and an on-demand read of your last 30 sessions. It rebuilds today's session when your readiness calls for it, from 30 sessions of history instead of 10. Tell it you have different bells, something hurts, or less time, and it adapts the day around that. It sets a weekly conditioning target from the training load you actually carried, and it analyses as many lifting videos as you care to send it. Programs, progression, and cardio stay free.
• BellSense+ Monthly — $9.99 per month
• BellSense+ Annual — $79.99 per year
BellSense+ Live
The top tier. The coach watches your sets through the camera and speaks while it happens. Ask it anything in chat — answers come from your own sessions — and every day opens with a written brief: what today should be, and why.
• BellSense+ Live Monthly — $29.99 per month
• BellSense+ Live Annual — $239.99 per year
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Prices are in US dollars and may vary by region.

Simple tools, serious work. Lift with intention. BellSense keeps you honest.
This is one of the best training apps I’ve tried, it has genuinely transformed my workout routine. The real-time coaching is a standout feature. My favorite part is the leaderboards you can create with friends to stay motivated. If you’re into kettlebells, download it—you won’t regret it. Can’t wait for the hardware to take things to the next level!
Something New
two shainzz
Finally an app that actually explains what your workouts mean. Not just numbers like “you did X reps” but actual analysis of what you’re doing. The AI coach feedback is actually useful. The weekly reviews are really helpful too. Catches stuff you miss just looking at the numbers day to day.Worth the download if you want more than just a workout timer
Actually Pretty Awesome
ZenDragon001
This is actually a really cool app. I like that it tracks my workouts and recovery and tells me how to progress. I connected my Apple health data and heart rate monitor to track my routines and it’s learning me and making recommendations. Been doing ABF and it’s good to have something tell me when to advance versus just guessing. Definitely want this KB sensor too
Elevated Performance

This App helped me get to the next Level quicker than anything I’ve tried in the past. It’s easy to use, and navigate. The professional trainers input really helps and boosts my performance. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for personal gains !
The count comes first.
Finishing a workout now asks for your rep count before the score, the records and your baselines are worked out, so a correction reaches everything. Records that an over-count had earned and a correction could not take back are removed once, the first time this build opens.
Also in this build: • Alternating sessions run on the camera: two or three movements, one phone position for all of them. • A coach-recommended session can now run on the camera, not only with a sensor or by hand. • Browse workouts opens all forty coach-written workouts, with filters for length, effort and movement, and each one says whether it fits today. • The daily recommendation draws on forty coach-written sessions, up from fourteen. • In the live mirror, the round label no longer sits under the rep count.
