BeReal. Your friends for real‪.‬ 12+

BeReal is technically like social media, but not really. If your having trouble deciding if you should let your kids have the app, I would say it’s completely fine to use. You should probably be 9+ to use, but it’s really just taking pictures of what your doing right in the moment. So, here’s how it works: you get a notification every day (looks like this: ⚠️ it’s time to BeReal ⚠️) meaning that you have to take a photo of what your doing then and post it to your friends and check out what they’re doing too. You have two minutes to post a photo but if you don’t do it in two minutes, it’s considered late, but don’t worry! You can still post and see what your friends are up to! There is an option where you can post “to the world” which basically means people other than your friends can see your post. I would recommend not letting your children post to the world. The picture you take is a two sided photo of you, and then what your doing. (Make sure you smile!) There is one other thing, and that’s reacting to your friends BeReals. It’s like an emoji, but a picture of you giving a thumbs up, or a heart, etc. I will say BeReal can get a little addicting. Where they’re on it reacting to all there friends 24/7. But other than that, it’s perfectly safe and kid friendly! No hate on the app, just letting the fellow parents out there know what there child wants and how you can provide a safe way of using the app!

BeReal is the perfect thing to see what your friends are doing! BeReal makes you and you’re friends and family connect more ! BeReal sends you a notification everyday! That notification means it’s the time of the day you take a photo and it’s not always the same time so then u can see what people are doing at different times ! And when u take a photo of yourself and/or friend(s) it takes another photo but on the opposite camera so like the back of you phone ! You can use BeReal on an iPad,iphone,phone and take photos ! You can even react to your friends BeReal by simply take a photo on which emoji u want for example if there BeReal is funny u can react with the funny reaction of a picture of you! You can see how other people have reacted to you’re friends BeReal ! I have found BeReal such a fun thing to look up to do everyday! And if you post your BeReal right when you get your notification you can post two more one more today or two tomorrow or one tomorrow one today you can only post your extra one before your next one goes off!!
