Love Berkshire Bank, mobile app needs work
I am a longtime Berkshire Bank user and love that they support local causes in the Berkshires. But their desktop site looks like something from the 90s (although it functions well) and this mobile app is difficult to access. I have had to change my password multiple times because the app locks you out after 2 wrong password entries and it ALSO locks you out of your desktop site. Because it’s a small local bank, customer service via phone is only available on weekdays. One or all of these needs to change to make this app more usable. I have considered changing banks because most of my banking is remote, and the digital platforms are so easy to get locked out of.
It’s not terrible...
...in fact, I haven’t had a major issue with the app in months. Until recently, that is. Lately, EVERY SINGLE TIME I open the app it launches straight into a pop-up screen telling me what I can do with the app and new features and such, and I have to hit “skip” to actually get to my balances or other business. But these are never NEW features, it’s the same features it’s had since I’ve started using the app. And apparently leaving a bad review is the only way to let the developers know, because “App Feedback” doesn’t work. Sorry/not sorry.
Please fix it.
Fix the “no device ID found” error!
I got a new phone, iPhone 8 Plus, this week and now I cannot use the mobile banking. I never had this problem when I previously changed phone. I went through every step per the website on my pc and reactivated text banking but mobile banking does not work. It keeps saying “device id not found”. I answered all of the security questions correctly and when I put in my number to reenroll I get this error message. This is BS!! Fix this problem or I’m changing banks to one that is more accessible when things change. Many things about this bank have been making me want to leave and this just tips the hat further in that direction. I haven’t had an issue with any other app. Just this one.
