Bertucci's 4+

Got the app. Tried to pay. Like others said, wouldn’t take my credit card. So I went on the computer and that worked. Ordered a basic Bertucci’s pepperoni pizza. Added 4 veggies as extra toppings. Was even able to add a tip.

Got to the restaurant and couldn’t get anyone’s attention to give me my order. Some were working, some too busy chatting and laughing. Since I paid and saw my order on the heat rack, I took mine and left. (Works that way on purpose at lots of places these days, anyway, I guess.)

Got home, opened the box, took a good look...don’t see any pepperoni. Only veggies. Start eating and scrapping, no pepperoni. Look at the order slip, it says Bertucci’s with 4 veggies. I got a pepperoni pizza with no pepperoni. The rest of my order is correct but those are extras. I really want a pepperoni pizza.

My friend is mad for me. “Take it back! Get your money! And get a free pizza!” I don’t have that kind of time or energy. I finish my veggie pizza and am now equally finished with take-out from here. Pandemic is rough on places right now. Maybe I’ll try dine-in some other time. Thanks.

App is good except you take time to add all to cart, select pay in store, only for it to tell you it’s over $50 & need to use credit card (should tell you before you select an option). Then - tells me the credit card is expired when it is not. That’s a bug for sure. Could be so much better.

I have a 12.9” iPad Pro with attached keyboard that I normally use in Landscape mode. The Betrucci’s app only runs in Portrait mode, which means I either have to use it sideways with my head tilted 90% left (causing great pain), or unplug my keyboard, physically rotate the screen to Portrait mode, and replug/re-rotate when done, no thanks!

In fact, just trying to run with keyboard attached (and with screen and my head tilted sideways), it does not allow you to type on any screens. Beyond terrible!

If it ran in Landscape mode would be a decent app, but since I have to use the website instead, this app is 100% useless
