**A MUST DOWNLOAD**
I stumbled upon the BestBuy app while on the website. I downloaded it immediately despite reading the negative reviews. It always seems as if those who write the terrible reviews always have trouble with the app, although it is the other way around. Your phone may be older, you’re iOS might need updating, and in general, it is YOUR UX or user experience that is the issue. So please don’t come to the review section and bash the developers of this app because with my iPhone 11 Pro Max, gigabit internet and reliable Verizon 4G LTE network, this app works flawlessly. Just picked up my 55” Samsung Q60t today through the app and it was amazingly clean, minimal and EASY!
So, to all you “thread trashers” and “review junkies,” I say to you: everyone aha a different experience, although you as the consumer needs to realize that sometimes and honestly most times, it is your doing, not the app’s or the developer’s doing. Cheers!
Inefficient use of space in landscape
I love the iOS apps for the phone and iPad but the iPad version is very inefficient with the space usage. This may have less to do with the app (which runs great itself) and more to do with the web design of the page feeding content to the app. On some of the pages a picture for a single item can take up around two screens of scrolling to get down to the next stuff and that’s kind of annoying when you consider how many more things could be displayed at once.
Other than that I really like the app experience and I never thought I would be a big fan of Apple Pay but the integration works well and simplifies the checkout process.
Well I have to say this is an app that I will be getting rid of. This app caused me to miss out on a deal of the day due to not letting me sign in. It actually took 10 attempts and when I got in and added item to my cart it said I need to be connected to the internet!!! Not only was I connected the freakin app logged me in, just when I’m ready to make my purchase it says I’m not. I eventually got to a computer and the items were sold out!!! This has got to be the worst update of any iOS app ever.
That was during the week, the same thing happened on Black Friday! Wouldn’t let me into the app via my saved password and fingerprint. Then if I enter information manually, it tell me “oops looks like something has gone wrong”, not only is this condescending (I know something went wrong I’m using the stupid app) it’s insulting to someone experiencing issues. So thanks for letting me know of the continued Black Friday sales that your app wouldn’t allow me to take advantage of.
