Bicameral lets you capture video and photos using your iPhone's front and rear cameras simultaneously — or combine two rear lenses for a whole new perspective. Everything is processed entirely on your device. No cloud. No accounts. Just cameras.
THREE LAYOUT MODES
Choose how your cameras appear in the final output:
- Picture-in-Picture — One camera fills the frame with the other in a floating overlay
- Vertical Split — Side-by-side, 50/50
- Horizontal Split — Top and bottom, 50/50
Tap to swap which camera is primary. Switch layouts with a single tap while shooting.
VIDEO AND PHOTO
Bicameral supports both video recording and dual-camera photo capture. Videos are composited in real time using Metal GPU acceleration. Photos are rendered at full sensor resolution.

ORIENTATION SUPPORT
Shoot in portrait or landscape. Orientation locks automatically when recording starts so your composition stays consistent. Optional orientation lock toggle in settings.
SMART EXPORT
Save to Photos, Files, or choose each time with the system share sheet. Bicameral names every file with a precise timestamp so nothing gets overwritten.

SETTINGS THAT SYNC
All your preferences sync across devices via iCloud Key-Value Store. Change a setting on one iPhone and it's already there on another. Conflict resolution ensures the most recent change always wins.
PRIVACY FIRST
All capture and processing happens entirely on your device. Bicameral never uploads your photos, videos, or data to any server. Optional analytics can be disabled in settings. Camera, microphone, and photo library permissions are requested only when needed and clearly explained.
