Do not waste your time if you are just visiting A Coruña. The app will allow you to create an account and allow you to login, but the app will not function beyond that point. I assume the blank pop-up window was intended to provide an error message.
After spending an hour trying to understand why the app would not work. A local explained it is intended for locals only.
There are local bike rentals places. However, they could be all booked if a cruise ship is in town.
