Bid Wars: Storage Auction Game ١٢+

A small fan of the TV show I found this game and thought what the heck, why nkt give it a try. The gameplay is fun and the random lockers keep you guessing, the best part is that the game has real stakes where at any moment you could either lose or gain a massive amount of money which keeps it interesting. The pawn shop update was pretty cool because it gives players the ability to target certain items while the bid on a unit because they can make more profit. The stakes get higher as the game progresses and the leagues made the game even more intense as you push yourself to be more aggressive with your bidding. Not to mention this game doesn’t need wifi connection and still adds your score to league while not online is awesome. My few complaints are that the total amount of energy you have is really small and as you progress further into the game you can only really bid at 2 locations and the cooldown on energy is so long that the next time you get to bid is like three hours down the road. Adding easier way to get energy like being able to buy upgrades to increase your max energy would be nice or at the very least shorten the time it takes you to gain energy. I understand it’s importance since without it you could blow through the entire game in a few days but I still would like energy to be a bit easier to obtain.

This is overall a great game however there are a few things that concern and I would like to put out. First off is the developers need to release more content quicker. Once you get to the end of the game there really isn’t much to do after. All there is to look forward is the daily, weekly and monthly bids. I’m at the end of Texas and it’s very boring playing the same level over and over again. I only get on now to play the daily mission. Next is the loot drop. I get the same three expensive (when I say expensive I’m talking about an item worth $6,000 or more) items in every game I play. There is no randomness to it and it’s very frustrating. There are seven items I haven’t unlocked yet and I’ve tried to go for them but since I get the same repetitive loot I don’t play too much now. Make all the items random so everything stays fresh. Lastly are the ads. Now I don’t mind watching an ad after each game if I’m able to buy a locker. If I wasn’t able to buy a locker then I shouldn’t have to watch an ad. There was a time where I played about five games and didn’t buy a single locker because the AI was driving the price up and made it too expensive but yet I still had to watch ads after each game. That frustrated me as well. Overall though this game is good. If you’re starting out you’ll have something to do for a while as it will take you a little time to get to the end of Texas but once you hit it the game will get very boring.

So I found this game while I was just looking for something to pass the time. It is a great game to play I even got my wife to play it, it is a fast pace game which allows you to move up the ranks quickly. It also has a game within its self with the leagues and even if you lose the leagues you do it have to start back at square one which is really nice. The option to sell things in your pawn shop that you get later in the game is really nice you can make some good profit there and wait for the price that you would like to see your things sold for. The power ups that you can use to gain an edge are amazing as well just wish you could get more of them more often sometimes. In playing this game an idea has come to me that it would be cool if you could see how much money your opponents have brought with them because just like in real life sometimes they just try to keep biding to make it higher for the person who ultimately buys it and at that point it makes their person buying it have less money for the next auction. Even if it was a little bar with an approximate value that went with a high of green medium of yellow and low of red just to see if you thought they were trying to put bid you or raise the price. Just a thought love the game though.
