HOW TO PLAY BIG BUCK HUNTER: MARKSMAN

- Select an animal and a hunting location to challenge an opponent for either virtual currency or cash.
- Tap and hold to look through your rifle scope and slow time. Drag to adjust your aim. Release to fire!
- You have limited time to take your shot before the scope timer runs out. Swipe down to cancel your shot.
- Shoot bucks (deer with antlers) to earn points!
- Shooting does (deer without antlers) will incur point penalties. Don't shoot the does!
- Head and heart shots will down bucks in a single shot and receive more points!
- Non-head or -heart body shots will require multiple shots to down the buck.
- Maintain your Marksman Streak with consecutive head and heart shots for extra points!
- The farther and more accurate the shot, the more points you'll collect!
- Take aim at all other critters and trophy animals throughout the round to rack up additional points!
- Get a higher score than your opponent to win your match and take home the prize on the line!
- You will earn coins based upon your success. Spend your coins at the Big Buck Outfitters store to unlock in-game upgrades!

Skillz is a powerful mobile competition platform that features matchmaking, tournaments, leaderboards, trophies, prizes, chat rooms and a rewarding player loyalty program. Please note that cash matches are not available in the following states: AR, CT, DE, LA and SD. If you do not live in a cash-enabled region, you can still play Big Buck Hunter: Marksman with virtual currency.

What happened?

This was such a good game. I enjoyed plAying and got fairly good when last week or two something happen. the scope goes a little crazy and pulls away early or just aims wrong or shoots where you're not aimed...so that problem got a little better. I noticed, on my birthday you had a ground hog tournament so i finally broke down and added some money. i played the first game and shot 5 bucks yet the scoreboard showed I lost. my entry fee was gone and suddenly every time I go into the game, It says I am offline when anyone can see I am not, except when trying to open and play Big Buck..i can't even get in to verify if my money is still on my acct. Please fix this. Thank you...

Disgrace to the Big Buck Hunter Name

I have always loved big buck hunter. Thats where I always spend my time and change wherever they have one set up. This is trash. You can only play 1 site 1on1, no trecks, no picking where you go, nothing. Even if you pay, you can do matches 1on1 or in brackets but its still just one site at a time at random. If your thinking “at least thats fair to both players” you would be wrong. Your opponent isn't chosen before the match, it looks like they are with a randomizer but after the match it can be different or worse say its atill finding you a match after you have finished. It just matches you later with people who scored higher and keeps your money because whatever bonus cash or deals you get or earn cant be cashed out. So once your down to bonus cash you win and take someone else’s money. Don’t waste your time. Go back to the arcade and play if you want actual buck hunter. I wont even be doing that anymore. Last of my money that will go to Big Buck Hunter in any form.

Strange

The game is cool but I’m thrown off by a lot of it. I have a hard time believing I’m playing real people most of the time. I will play matches and do pretty well (well at least I think I do) but then my opponents will absolutely put me to shame. The thing is, I know some of the scores they get are unobtainable with the amount of animals in the given level. I’ll play multiple matches like this with the same opponent, but every 3-5 matches I will beat them and they will have an abnormally low score. I could be wrong but I wouldn’t be surprised if this game is mostly controlled by AI to gain profits. This is no accusation by any means, and could just be a sore loser, but as someone who’s worked using AI before this is exactly how someone could use it to make a scam work with none the wiser. Either way, I hope I’m wrong because I like it for the most part.
