Big Clock 4+

This does exactly what I wanted, put a big clock on my screeen to remind me what time it is. The only problem is I have 2 external montitors on my Macbook pro and it doesnt remember where I put it, it constanly hops back to the upper right corner of my main screen when the mac goes to sleep or shuts down. If it would just remember where I put it it would be perfect.

I find the system time display at the top right of the toolbar to be a bit too small to notice, so I’ve been looking for somethnig to better fill my needs. Big Clock is excellent and does exactly what I want. I’ve configured it to display the current time in the lower right corner of my 27” display where it doesn’t interfere with whaever apps I have open. I picked a medium lavender color that shows well against white or gray (the background of most things I ave open). The time now floats above all other windows at a size that is easy to read but doesn’t distract from whatever I’m doing.

This app is super easy to install and to use and adjust how you like it. I keep the app running on my desk top. For my job I write all day long at my computer and i sit for too long. So the big clock in the middle helps me remember what time it is, and the reminder feature reminds me every hour to get up and take a break. I am taking better breaks now, stretching my legs. I also have a better idea of how long it takes me to complete projects because the clock keeps the time in my awareness. I am a creative person and never know what time it is.
