This app helps you find optimal routes for earning Bike Angel Points using your NYC Citi Bike membership.

The objective:
Take bikes from stations that are full and dock them in stations that are empty.

Our algorithm optimizes routes for highest amount of points with the shortest distance.

Benefits:
- Earn Bike Angel Points quickly
- Get a great workout
- Explore new neighborhoods
- Help the Citi Bike Community by rebalancing Bikes

Features:
- Map view: show a heat map of where the most points are located
- Map view: tap on the heat map to see the top routes in that area
- List view: show optimal routes in all of NYC
- List view: show optimal routes close to your location
- Route view: step by step directions for the workout

We do not support "gaming" the system (e.g. biking back and forth between two stations). Instead, please run in between stations, you will get a better workout!

This is just rad. So happy someone put the effort and thought into making the thing my indecisive workout brain does not have the processing power to handle. Having a great time with this app—thanks NYC friend :-)

Doesn’t work

Leaving an extra star in good faith, because the concept is wonderful, the interface, while a little slow, is really convenient, and overall this would be a great app. If it worked. It just calculates points wrong for some reason, on nearly all of the routes it suggests I go double check on the City Bike app and it turns out the drop off station is a pick up that won’t earn me any points. I’ve been blindly following it for half an hour and I’ve earned nothing. Be careful!

DOA?

2024 October map appears but doesn’t populate. Like this for many consecutive days. Deleted app, reinstalled, no difference. What’s app? I mean what’s up?
