* We've added Undo/Redo functions to the route edit screen * You can now switch routing service within the route edit screen. The selected routing service will be saved along with each route.

You can now define restricted areas on the map. Use these to prevent the route from passing certain roads or paths. To add a restricted or 'no-go' area press the no-go button on the route edit screen to enter no-go mode then press and hold on the map to define the location and the size of a circular area. No-go areas are ignored by the Apple routing services.

* The Map Options pop up window now does not block the map screen while it is open. * Added Drag & Drop support to import and export routes on iPad. * Fixed a bug when syncing routes across devices with iCloud. * Lots of under-the-covers improvements.

Fixed a crash effecting some users loading routes on startup

* Added estimated duration to routes. This is a simple measure for the 'average' rider and will obviously not reflect your individual fitness level, traffic, riding style or wind and road surface conditions. * Improvements to Cue Sheet screen. This can now be viewed whilst continuing to edit the route. The selected Cue Sheet instruction is highlighted on the map. * More accurate selection of alternate routes. This fixes an issue where it was hard to select one of the alternate routes if it was close to another route or when zoomed out on the map. * Waypoints are now numbered to make it easier to identify them on backtracked routes. * Offset Turn Instructions. More fine grained control for when a turn instruction appears relative to junctions if you find that the default placement is too early or too late. Set this in Defaults -> Exporting Routes. * Exporting defaults have been moved to the general defaults screen.

* Fix for a bug when inserting a waypoint into an existing route.

- Improvements to the Route List Screen * We've added a new context menu with actions on a route - just long press on a route thumbnail to open the menu and you can: * Duplicate existing routes * Add a route to your favorites, then sort routes so favorites appear on top of the list * Rename a route directly from the Route List Screen * Delete a route * Share a route - The total climbing and total descending algorithms have been tweaked to give more accurate values - Added smoothing to elevation data to remove noise and outliers - Fixed a possible crash caused by moving or inserting a waypoint when editing a route.

* Many improvements to the Elevation Charts: - The chart is now colour-coded; climbs are shown in shades of red with darker red for steeper gradients - Swipe left or right on the elevation chart to see the exact gradient at a point on the route - Zoom into a part of the elevation chart with a two finger pinch gesture, and once zoomed in, pan left or right using the direction buttons above the chart - Double tap the elevation chart to display a larger expanded version.

* You can now set the number of thumbnail columns on the route list screen; use a pinch to zoom in or out and adjust the number of columns * Location search history syncs across devices with iCloud * Route elevation charts are now generated for all routing engines globally * OSRM routing engine support has been extended to include Ireland, Australia and New Zealand * Fixed a crash that could occur when deleting waypoints on a round-trip route.

* Many user-interface improvements: including full screen route editing, new button bars, cue sheet icons, better iPad support. * The round-trip button has been moved to the button bar on the top-left to make it easier to find. * Fixed a few issues when importing multiple route files, either from AirDrop or the Files app. * Haptic feedback on supported devices when adding waypoints. * Distance is now also shown when panning across the elevation chart.

* Added FIT file support for both exporting and importing. This is the preferred export format for use with Wahoo Elemnt devices. * Fixed a bug in the elevation graph to show the correct elevation units * Fixed an issue importing files using 'From Files' menu option in iOS 13.

* For iOS 13 users, 'Dark Mode' is fully supported * We now show recently searched for locations in the Location Search screen for easy retrieval * You can now set the preferred unit of elevation (metres or feet) separately from the distance unit (miles or kilometres) in the app defaults * When creating a new route, if the device location services are disabled or unavailable, the map location and zoom level will now default to the last successfully saved location, or the last saved route start point location. * Fixed an issue where GPX files were not selectable in the Import from Files option when running iOS 13 * Fixed an issue where the waypoint balloon markers were disappearing even at moderate to high map zoom levels on iOS 13.

* We've added support for TCX files, both for importing and exporting. TCX files can include turn-by-turn instructions as well as a 'breadcrumb trail'. This is useful for GPS computers that do not automatically create turn-by-turn instructions while following a route. If you have a Wahoo cycle computer we recommend you try exporting routes as TCX to the Wahoo Elemnt Companion App in order to gain turn-by-turn instructions, Garmin users continue to use GPX. * Fix for scrolling problems when using the search field on the route list screen * Fix for a crash when importing invalid GPX files * Fixed a few issues arising from the iOS 13 update.

* Better support for Round Trip routes. When creating a route select the start, and press the 'return' button to complete the route. * Improvements when importing routes from other sources. Bike Routes will now insert waypoints along the imported route so that it can be edited easily, by dragging or inserting additional waypoints. * We've removed the restriction of only 3 routes on the free version of Bike Routes. Upgrade the Bike Routes Premium to export routes to your cycle computer of choice. * Swiping across the elevation chart now reveals the exact elevation.

* Satellite View. In addition to the default map view you can now view your route over a satellite image. This option is available on the new Map Options sheet accessed by pressing the diamond shaped button when editing a route. * Alternate routes. The routing engine can now suggest two other routes in addition to the primary route. Currently alternate routes are only supported on the default BRouter routing engine. You can turn Alternate Routes on or off from the Map Options sheet. * We've also moved the location maker toggle to the new Map Options sheet. * Routes can now be created in any country of the world, except when using the OSRM Routing Engine which is currently UK only.

* Improvements to GPX file import and export. For importing we've added GPX Routes to the existing support for GPX Tracks, with the option to convert the route to a track during import. We've also fixed an issue exporting to Garmin Connect. * Support for the new 2018 iPad Pro devices. * New Search for Place function when editing routes.

* iCloud Sync. Your routes are now automatically backed up to iCloud. They are also synchronised between your iOS devices, so you can create routes on an iPad and see them on your iPhone or vice-versa. If you have already purchased the Upgrade for Unlimited Routes, just press 'Already Purchased' on the Upgrade screen to activate unlimited routes on each new device. If you don’t want your routes saved to your iCloud account you can disable iCloud Sync from the Bike Routes settings. * Distance markers. We’ve added distance markers on the Route Edit screen so you can see at a glance the distance covered from the start at each stage of a route. * Elevation Chart Improvements Swipe left and right along the elevation chart when viewing or editing a route to see the exact elevation of a point along the route.
