Graphisoft’s BIMx Desktop is an interactive app for exploring BIM projects and linked documentation sets created in Archicad and DDScad and enables viewers to explore architectural design projects on your desktop computer.
BIMx offers professional building visualization with game-like navigation to explore and visualize architectural projects. BIMx features the ‘BIMx hyper-model’ – allowing non-design professionals to explore and fully understand architectural design intent, view project deliverables, and access element level BIM data. BIMx links the 3D model with the relevant 2D documentation layouts, providing a seamless way to view the 3D cutaway model in the context of a 2D layout — and vice versa.

Could be a nice product but rendering on Mac in somewhat broken.
Rendering on Mac has weird artifacts that spoil the visual impression. It seems this product was primarily designed for Windows and Mac is an barely tested afterthought.
Also, the product does not allow paste into a password field so good luck if you are using a password manager with strong random password.

Controls?
Clicking the menus looking for clues how to make this application produce some kind of output reveals that there should be a way to rotate the depicted model and move one’s viewpoint through the model, but on a Mac Studio M1 Ultra with both an ordinary pointing device and a 3DConnexion controller, the application completely ignores all input including old-style keyboard control with arrows. If this is a limitation of the included model, I can’t tell, as I haven’t access to an alternative. What I’m seeing is a static image that can’t be inspected or have any layers removed or changed to learn what’s in the model beneath the 2D render. If the app has any further utility I can’t find it.
