BIS-Online คือ ระบบการเรียนแบบออนไลน์ ผ่านทางอินเตอร์เน็ต หรือ สัญญาณโทรศัพท์ 3G ซึ่งผู้เรียนสามารถเข้าเลือกสมัครและเรียนในวิชาที่ตัวเองสนใจในลักษณะของ VOD (Video On Demand) โดยการป้อนรหัสผ่านเพื่อ Login เข้ามาเรียนศึกษาวิชาที่ลงทะเบียนไว้ตามเวลาที่ตนเองสะดวก และสามารถติดตั้งพร้อมกันได้หลายอุปกรณ์ เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนสะดวกในการการเลือกใช้งานตามอุปกรณ์ที่มีอยู่ ซึ่ง BIS-Online การเรียนผ่านระบบออนไลน์นั้น การผลิตสื่อให้มีคุณภาพเป็นเรื่องที่สำคัญอย่างมาก ดังนั้น
