Description

A magic 8-ball-ish application inspired by Bit in the classic movie Tron. Tap it and it will tell you "yes" or "no", the only two values a bit can have.

What’s New

Version 4

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

- Tap detection is more forgiving, so should be nicer
- Hopefully this version fixes the issues with no sound on some devices

the only AI an informed person is likely to willingly use

This simple app is perfectly implemented movie magic in a tiny package, a childhood dream of a friendly computerized companion come to life. Bit is the only AI you MIGHT be able to trust, and the only one you’d likely be wise to ever use. Hang on to your identity discs and don’t get derezzed out there, Users. End of Line.♥️👾

Simple app but works perfectly

My only wish was that it was tied into Siri, or even Google Assistant or Alexa. It would be fun to ask it actual questions that it could give actual factual answers to. As in, I could ask Bit if it's cold out and it could say "yes" if it's below 50F. Or I could ask it if it's raining or other yes/no answers confirmable via the web. I realize this would be a lot of work, but I'd definitely pay for the app! Regardless, this is great.

Im just still happy that this app exists still

I remember having this app when I was incredibly younger, and after watching the original tron again I remembered this app and wanted to know if it was still a thing. And it is!!! Great app simple and goofy
