This Game Doesn’y Run on my MacPro
Opens to the splash screen then mouse cursor changes and cannot be moved to lower half of screen. Can’t even get to the “play” button. don’t waste your money. Just checked the company’s support page…. they’ve known about it since March of 15 and haven’t bothered to fix it. So essentially, they just stole 7-bucks selling a worthless program. Nice.
Decent for the price
At my time of purchase, I got the game for $4 .. it’s par for the course of all of these simple point-and-click adenture games. You basically pick up anything that isn’t locked down, then try it on every hot spot in the game till you find the right solution. There are a handful of mini-puzzles, and 21 hidden skulls to find around the various scenes. The story is exceedingly average, but I don’t think most people play these for the story. This game has a South American Lost Tribe theme to it. The graphics are pretty good, reminding me often of the early Myst games. My only complaints were that the NPCs you interact with are not animated in any way at all, so watching these still images talk without their lips or bodies moving is a bit laughable (again, $4 game here). The other complaint is that the various hot spots seem to sometimes not activate until you complete certain parts of the quest. So you may end up not knowing where to go, only to find a suddenly active hot spot on one of the earlier screens you visite. Playing at a level that gives you hints and shows active spots with glowing sparkles is highly recommended. Overall, nothing really stands out here, but if you like these games and can still get it for $4, it’s a decent enough distraction for a couple of hours.
I have only been playing the game for a few minutes and its asking for a review. The graphics are ok and so far the game is interesting. Like I said only been playing for a few minutes. It took over an hour to download if that tells you anything. I will keep playing and if anything really interesting pops up I will update my review.
