Cute Bleach Game of all time
I mainly downloaded after seeing the Chibi versions of Bleach characters and I am not disappointed, it was fun and has lots of different things to explore too❤️🔥
Challenging Match 3
Bleach Soul Puzzle is harder than your standard match 3 game. While most other match 3 game consists of 3 colors(easy) to 5 colors(hard) per stage, Bleach uses 5 colors as their standard stage and even as early as stage 72 introduces stages with 6 colors. The AI is also lacking when combining special powers. Most games when using a seeking combo power up, it’ll search out the space that’s optimal to achieving your goal. Here it’s random and can explode on a single piece instead of seeking out a space that can net you 10+ pieces towards your goal. Another minor issue is the longer than normal loading screens which is quite noticeable. For reference, I’m playing on a 14 pro.
If you’re a fan of Bleach or anime style games in general, it’s a cute, aesthetically pleasing game. Just be aware of the harder than normal difficulty even in the early stages of the game.
Derivative
30-some levels in this just feels like every other match-3 puzzle game except with the occasional appearance of Bleach chibis one collects (and then never looks at again? They don’t appear to have any purpose beyond occasionally bouncing and rotating on their little pillars) It also feels unfinished - odd font choices and spacing in explainers. Feels like the release was rushed. But right now you get 200 orbs in BBS for playing so I suppose I’ll relive my candy crush phase for a little while.
