What's This? A solid IPad Platformer?
This game is one of my favorite mobile games ever. Especially when you compare it to other platformers on mobile (or as I like to call them, Mario ripoffs) This game is solid. The graphics are a thing of beauty, the controls are just as good as "Super Mario Bros. 3", and the creativity really shines, despite some enemies obviously inspired by other games. The difficulty can be a fun challenge, but sometimes, it's just tedious. The mine cart levels are an example of that. Overall, this game can easily fit in with other great Ipad games, and maybe even be a spiritual successor to the Mario series if it ever dies.
But that won't happen, right?
Best mobile game I've played yet
This is for sure the best iPhone game I have ever played. With all of these city management and infinite runners having all the attention, It's hard to find a decent, enjoyable game that's different from the others. Sure it's kind of a Mario/Sonic spin-off, but it's really well made and has beautiful old-school graphics, so I don't think it really matters, it's still lots of fun. I have enjoyed every second of this game. It's addicting and it gets really hard, which adds a good challenge. I'm looking forward for more games like this. I loved it!
I actually played all the way through it. I don't know if I can say that about any other iPhone game. A few ideas for the next installment... Since I'm really hoping there will be another one... 1. Upgrades and power ups as you progress to make it easier to get all stars and secrets. 2. A reason to collect all stars and secrets 😄. It didn't really matter how many stars you got on each level. They weren't used for anything. Really enjoyed this game though.
