Present your events and reminders right on your desktop with this stunning calendar viewer. Blotter seamlessly integrates with the Calendar and Reminders Mac apps and renders your whole week as a part of your wallpaper. It is beautifully discreet yet only a glance away. Blotter also makes it a snap to add a new event or reminder to your calendar. Use the always present menu bar icon, or configure global keyboard shortcuts which work from within any application on your Mac.

Did you ever mark something in your calendar only to forget to check the calendar? No more. With your week right before you, you always know if you can make a meeting on Tuesday or if you’ll be able to go home early on Friday.

• Keep your existing calendar. Blotter will tie directly into macOS Calendar instead of recreating it.
• Quickly add a new event or a new reminder.
• Keep things snappy. Blotter uses very little memory and processing power.
• Optionally view the next 7 days (rolling week) instead of a calendar week.
• Quickly customize what to display, what to hide and how much space to give each section.

Also works with Google Calendar. See our support site for more information.

Note that Blotter does not support calendar editing, beyond adding events and reminders.

Really limited but does what it says

I thought it would have features (necessary options) it doesn’t. It should have the options to only have the application on a locked screen. To have the calendar fade completely after a set period. To make it smaller and on and on,, and it would be really nice if it had a simple interface with the application, nada, you need to open either the Calendar or Reminders app to do anything. You can add a task but why can’t you mark it’s completed? If you look through the reviews, the lack of features for it’s cost is a major complaint.

It just doesn’t have enough options to justify the money it cost. Should be less than $5.00

Still, it does what it says it does.

What I was looking for

I was a little hesitant, based on the negative reviews, to purchase this application. But so far it is pretty much what I was looking for. I have it parked on my second monitor, where it stays faded and in the background of other apps. I have the hotkey for the calendar mapped to a Dragon Dictate voice command, so I can simply call it up when I need to view it above other opened windows. I also have it linked to a Keyboard Maestro macro so that when my computer is awakened, this calendar comes to forefront after 10 seconds.

I like how it syncs with iCloud calendar, and allows for adding events from the menubar. Though I do say to-do manager, it’s very useful to get a overview of scheduled events without having to open the regular calendar app on my to-do manager.

I’m glad it’s still working. I’m sure the developers could much more with it, but for now it seems to be working okay.

Helped me with my Time Management!

I am not sure how many college students use this, but I love being organized. I finally realized my agenda was not working when I missed an interview. So I decided to look up some great calendar apps for the computer and came across this one. There were many negative reviews, but I decided to take the chance. This is LITERALLY life changing. I have the Google Calender app on my phone, so when I schedule an appointment or plan I enter it immediately onto Google Calendar and it syncs to Blotter on my macbook. For people who may be having trouble opening the system preferences for the app, there’s a calender symbol near the clock on the right, top hand side of the computer. For $10, I am sure I would have been hesitate to get this, but I had a giftcard. :) Either way it has been a very good investment. Hope the company only continues to improve the app.
