Two different visits
I used this app a week ago. Started 17 people out and in minutes was 3 people out using first available doctor. Then a few hours later I was 2 then a few hours later I was 1. Then next up then 4 hours later still nothing. I gave up at the 8 hr Mark . Today i used the app for a second try. In 20 minutes I was video chatting with my Dr. I was very satisfied with my experience today. Will always use first. Thank you for this app.
Poor Customer Service
Seems to be a common theme going on here. Visited with a doctor on the app due to an infection in my finger. Go to the pharmacy, they have nothing for me, even though her reports she sent it. Tried calling AmWell, was transferred 5 times, back to the original person I talked to, who was very rude (Justin), who transferred me to a prescription line. Waited on hold 20 minutes (approximate wait time 10 minutes according to the announcement), before leaving my number for call back. Now, an hour later, no call back. Guess I don’t need the antibiotics. Because I’m in public service, my schedule won’t allow me to go in anywhere until Friday. Guess I’ll just loose my finger due to infection, and it will be a result of poor customer service.
First Virtual doctor visit
I just had my first virtual doctor visit I wasn’t sure how it would go but it was super easy! The doctor was really nice. I just had poison so I thought I would try this since it wasn’t anything major but I will definitely be using this more often.
