Description
The Bondi Passport NFC Reader lets you check the NFC chip of your E-Passport and extract information such as your passport photo.
To use the app:
- Provide your passport number, date of birth, date of expiry. (These information are required as they act as a kind of password for the NFC chip of the passport)
- Hold your device on the inner cover of your passport to read the NFC chip and don't move it until the reading is completed.
Privacy:
The app doesn't send any of your passport information anywhere.

Doesn’t support EAC, BAC or PACE (all access control used by MRTD’s). It must be authenticating incorrectly because of the terrible backend development because other readers work. Tested with BAC on a sample chip and PACE on another sample. Stick to ReadID since they also use OCR (camera reads MRZ and computes auth key with that info)

The app is not fake. To work properly it requires at least an iPhone 7 or newer and a biometric passport.
It doesn't work on ID cards, driver licenses, old passports (more than 10 years) and passports of some countries.
