Bonobos ٤+

The app takes a frustrating customer service experience and makes it worse. Whenever you add something to your cart and want to continue shopping, you have to go back to the beginning, apply your filters, and search again. The app provides no information to help ID when your product will ship, and I’ve emailed them on multiple occasions on two different orders with no reply ever. They claim that you can live chat with someone, but the live chat link is never available. Long story short - Bonobos takes your money, will send your clothes MAYBE in a month even when you pay for expedited shipping, provides no back end support and won’t let you cancel orders pre-ship. If it sounds like a scam, that’s what it feels like. Too bad, Bonobos was my go-to clothing retailer for a long time. Avoid this app, and this company, and keep your sanity.

I used to love this app, and this brand. The app used to work seamlessly, and had this incredible feature called “How to Wear It” that would show out outfit suggestions for every item in the store’s inventory, and even allow you to tailor it to the occasion and climate. It was incredible for finding suggestions for items I had never considered buying before. And guess what, I would actually BUY them.

I work in e-commerce, and whoever decided to retire that feature should be fired immediately. Whoever let this app go by the way side should be fired immediately. I see different things showing up when I’m signed in versus when I’m not. I see better final sale deals when I’m not signed in to my account.

I have a high LTV to this brand, and am seriously considering going elsewhere with how you have trashed your app and online store. Fix it, and fix it now.

Been a customer for over three years and used to really like them. It feels like their overall fit has changed recently. Tough to tell detail on the website - how it will fit or even the color. I’ve had to call customer service the last two orders to get them fixed. Final sales are decent deals but and a huge but, if it doesn’t fit you or is a diff color or styling than it appears on the app you are out of luck. Just throw it in the trash because they won’t take it back. Hard to fathom a company doing that for something you bought sight unseen. So here’s hoping it works out for you. Hasn’t for me and it’s been a major pain.
