Use to be great

This app use to be great! I would have given 5 stars, then they start doing all these updates and now nothing is protected on my kids tablet. They can download and play whatever game. I have been in contact with them several times and the issue has not been resolved. Just keep giving me the run around “update, update update” well the updates don’t work. I’mVery disappointed. Need to find another security that will actually work now I guess.

Have used for several months. Highly, highly recommend. Great features, relatively easy to customize controls and allows extensive personalization. Can limit usage by time, by scheduled hours, or by app (allowing time limits on some apps, different limits for different apps). Can customize restrictions in almost limitless ways. My only wish is that it allowed social media monitoring, but not sure any service offers that option. I had tried a “top reviewed” service and hated it. Couldn’t get it to work and support nonexistent. The customer support for this app is great and I’ve always gotten quick personalized help few times I’ve needed it. Pricing far more reasonable than other services. Have recommended to other parents countless times. Five stars without hesitation.

New phone won’t transfer

I had given Boomerang one star because it would not let me keep my license for a new phone. It did finally get fixed and the Boomerang team asked me to contact them to get it fixed. I don’t need to now. While looking for a new AP, I realized there were some free ones that are too easy for my 13 year old to get around, and others that are much more expensive. Boomerang does what I need at a good price. I didn’t give 5 stars because of the time it took to get the new phone back on my account. Had I bought a new service, I may have had to go through the same problem.

Needless to say, I couldn’t replicate was I had with Boomerang anywhere else. My children do not have Apple devices, so I can monitor SMS, set up geofencing, and allow some apps that don’t go against their allotted time and can be used outside of hours (important during virtual learning). Happy to say that I am back!

Needless to say, I couldn’t replicate was I had with Boomerang anywhere else.
