Great for children
This is a really nice chalkboard - I agree it would be great to have chalk noises but otherwise the chalk flow is smooth. Someone wanted a "new chalkboard" - if you want to erase everything, just shake to clear (note right when the app starts up). A nice to have addition would be a panel of saved chalkboards but children for whom this is intended wouldn't be interested in organizing their chalkboards and would probably shake to clear or use the sponge on large size.

it's cute and works well. Very basic.
To all reviewers who rated low because they didnt know how to clear the board: At first I didn't know how to clear the board either but it's in the instructions. Just shake to clear. And to delete 'loaded' boards just swipe left to reveal a red delete button.
No undo
I finished a drawing and just as I was about to save it, I ever so slightly moved my iphone and the drawing was completely deleted with no undo option or way to get it back, Boo! Also the app is very basic, I was expecting more like more colors or sound effects or at least an undo option or a way to turn OFF the shake to delete option! I didn't even shake my phone, I moved it ever so slightly and it deleted my drawing before I could save it.
