CI Smart Sensor 17+

This is a pretty neat device for your medical cannabis. Just stick it to the top of the mason jar and I throw in a 8 gram pack. Has been good s far. Although have put in 58% packs and it’s been above or below 58% never at. But I had kinda forgot about it now. It will let me know when I need to order more 58% Boveda packs for my medical cannabis. It’s such a good buy compared to other cannabis monitors. The butler is the butler: I bought the cigar one, and was a able select all of the Boveda’s main uses to watch Over humidity. I know there was cigars, herbs, music, and I think one other. It is a great little tool. Not hard to calibrate. Even has a sensor to send you an alert to your phone if your stash is being tampered with, which I thought was cool, but you set it 56%-63% humidity, it’s been staying at 61% humidity. Calibration was easy, but I don’t know if it automatically changed anything. Said that it was of 2% humidity when I calibrated it, so don’t know if I’m spouse to take 2% off, or has it done that, and the 58% 8g pack in a 8 oz elite ball jar, with a quarter of some high quality medical cannabis. Might not be exact, but I figure if it goes out of 56%-63% humidity then it’s probably time to replace. It will send an alert to your phone if the humidity Is off. Great little device for the money. * Update to my previous post. Went from 2 stars to 5 stars. Definitely much better after the update to the app. Works as it should be. Like I said before it is an awesome product to use in any humidor and to keep track of my favorite cigars. It is a must if you like the ease and convenience of checking up on your humidor.*

I have been using this product since April 2018 and at first it worked great. I noticed overtime that things were not the same as when I first used it. What I realized is Apple puts out a lot of updates and Boveda’s tech support is really slow at coming out with their own updates when Apple does. So there have been many different issues I’ve seen over the past 10 months like calibration issues, but the one right now that is so unbearable is it takes a very long time to load the app(sometimes 1 minute+) and when it does finally open it does not give an accurate reading. The product itself is awesome, they just need to work on keeping it updated so that it functions like it is supposed to.

I originally purchased this for my Boveda acrylic humidor and after calibrating with the 75% calibration kit from Boveda, the Boveda Butler has been spot on in both areas. I even tested the levels with a second hygrometer and both were spot on with no deviations. Easy to track my cigars with the Boveda Butler app. Can easily setup continuous monitoring with an old Bluetooth enabled device continually running next to the Butler device so whenever you are traveling anywhere, you will be able to monitor the ranges for whatever you are using it for. You can even be alerted if someone dips into your stash. Very cool device that I highly recommended for anyone needing to monitor these type of levels. Be it cigars or if in a state that is legalized, you can monitor it for that situation as well. I also highly recommended getting the two way Boveda humidity packs for your needs. Keeps it at a very consistent level. 5 stars all around for all of the Boveda products that I have tried. Very helpful staff as well with quick responses. Highly recommended. Thanks Boveda.
