Description

Bow Hunter 2017 is a deer hunting simulation in the American Southwest and Northwest for white tail, black tail, and mule deer. Bow Hunter 2016, a sister product, is a deer hunting simulation in the American Southeast and Northeast for white tail deer.

Both simulations provide stalking and tree stand hunts, require camouflage, and good hunting techniques to accomplish successful hunts!

Choose the right bows, the right arrows, the right camouflage to get your shot to score!

Play in tournaments against other players for in game rewards and real cash prizes!

The deer in the 2017 simulation are easily spooked and will run quickly from the hunter if the hunter does not use the proper bow hunting techniques including the right camouflage!

The simulation contains over 100 hunts, with increasing difficulty, requiring better and better equipment, techniques, and hunting expertise.

Pretty Good Game

I like the game and the fact you can choose arrows, equipment, camo, etc in order to hunt; however, the bow needs to be able to be sighted in, maybe at tutorial or something in order to place shots. Rangefinder is accurate but when placing shots and shoot, the arrow isn’t flying to the deer at proper flight paths. Also, the sights should be able to be adjusted on point just like in the field. Other than that I like the game and it’s fun. Quite challenging too.

It has potential. But needs a lot of work.

I will echo the review I saw for Bowhunter 2016. The game is set up to force you to buy in-game currency. The hunts don’t reward you with enough currency to play for free, so you’ll get a few hunts in, and you’ll be stuck.
The other issue is the carry distance of arrows. They usually fall well before the target.

If the developers fixed these two things, it could be a real Fanta game!
Until then, play it for a few games, then delete.

Problems

I was actually enjoying this game for awhile until it stop working. I bought $8000 bow, i bought $200 arrows, i was buying all kinds of things and everything was working just find until after about stage 8 or 9 it would'nt work. You go in and hit the hunt button and all of a sudden out of no where nothing, didn't do anything. It would have been a nice game if it kept going.
