Disconnects and/or unpairs at random
First, let me just say that the features on this app are great when they work properly. I like the control it affords one over the sonic character of the speaker.
Primarily, I use the app to manually disable the RCA inputs I have connected when I am done using it, because if I don’t it’s too sensitive (even in low sensitivity setting) and will periodically turn on when not in use. This is inconvenient, but manageable.
My major complaint is this: Every once in a while, seemingly at random, the sub will fail to connect to the app, after which time it seems to just totally unpair. This results in me having zero control over it, and the sub will just power on and off every 15 minutes or so if not being used. The only way I have found to fix this is to unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in. Aside from the fact that this should absolute not be necessary on a subwoofer that costs nearly $2,000, this is a huge pain because I have to crawl on the floor and get it out of its snug location to even unplug the thing. I have the metal carpet pegs installed, and this heavy sub can’t exactly be slid in and out of place, it’s a whole production. Then I have to re-tune it because it was moved. Please fix this issue.
The App update
Since the app updated I lost the ability to change settings on my sub, tried everything... until I gave in and bought an older iPhone that’s not the iPhone 11 Pro.
