Create custom laser-cut boxes quickly and easily! 1. Define project size and features 2. Preview the project layout 3. Export as SVG or PDF Details • Get started with a template or modify an existing project • Specify the dimensions, material thickness and joint style • Add a separate lid and customize its appearance, fit and size. • Switch to the project layout tab to get a preview of the layout file that that will be generated. • Export the project for further processing or cutting. Boxes can be fully enclosed with 6 sides, or have one or more sides removed for open boxes, frames or other combinations. Lids can be flat or fit over with adjustable depth and fit. Grid Dividers can be added to boxes, with or without frames around the edges. Joints can be plain or smooth, or box joints that are automatic or specified by count. Material thickness and kerf can be configured for a precise fit.

Need Laser Cut Boxes…

Look no further. This app has everything I need. The app has a great intuitive layout, simple to understand, every box I have made has been spot on!! I have sent 2 messages to the Developer and both times he has responded quickly. Amazing support!!! 10 out of 10, would recommend!

This is my first stop when I’m need to design a box shaped element for our laser. So accurate! Evey box has fit together perfectly and is so beautiful. And seriously the price. What other apps do you have that are so clean and useful for free. The divider option is great but even if you don’t need the dividers go purchase and support this developer.

This is an outstanding app. It does everything you need to make a box. I actually will use it with a CNC router machine instead of a laser. Nice feature to have would be dividers on the inside that either fit into a joint or slide into slots on sides. The slots feature would be really nice. Noticed that the kerf setting is not sticking. Keeps going back to .008 on Tray.

Thanks very much for your feedback. The kerf problem should be fixed in the latest release (1.0.4). Dividers are in development and available for testing in the beta - use the in-app feedback form to get the beta version. Also, I'd like to add more support for CNC routers in the future so please get in touch with the in-app feedback button or email feedback@box-o-matic.io.

Minor updates & bug fixes! NEW: Matching Lid gets its own template NEW: Frame height has new option to be relative to divider or box interior IMPROVED: Export option to "Group Part Edges" is now called "Combine Part Edges into single path" and now exports closed paths instead of grouped paths so you can apply a fill color and perform boolean operations in drawing programs. IMPROVED: Interior shapes like slots for divider ends are now grouped and don't become part of the part edge path. Miscellaneous minor bug fixes and improvements.
