There are a lot of specific options that are selectable which is awesome. Notification are quick and to the point. The two things that keep it from a 5 star rating for me is how difficult it is to change settings, needing to remember your unique log in and logging in to a web browser. Also, I love the feature of getting notified when anywhere in the country goes over a 3rd alarm, however I would love the option to unfollow or mute notifications from an incident. The whole reason I’m writing this review now is because to the 100th time there is an incident in NJ that someone keeps posting useless photos of. Every 30 seconds I’m getting a notification of new media posted and it’s just a picture of a plume of smoke a mile away

The app and the basis behind it is quite a great idea. Unfortunately, the app is incredibly overpriced for what it is. I would submit multiple events and they were never shared. One would finally show up an hour later and was credited to another user. I truly believe it’s all about who’s friends with who is running the office. Some emergency service departments get ALL of their basic calls shared. Others NEVER are seen. Just not a even smooth playing ground. Was glad to cancel the app. Worth the refund.

Easy to use. Updates pushed right to your phone in real-time. Able to upload photos directly from a scene as needed. Requires subscription to service and access to the app to receive alerts. If you don't have BNN yet, subscribe today, it's well worth it, for the news you want as it is breaking.

I have been a loyal BNN user for 10+ years !! I was waiting for a long time for this App. Great job !! Can't wait for the next version with more features ! Maybe being able to customize the alert tones and reporting feature would be awesome. Being able to take you news with you minus the scanners or radios !!

The app is definitely so much better than receiving text messages. The only thing I would change it being able to change your subscription settings from the app. It's not easy doing it from the webpage on my phone. There should be a mobile friendly version to add and remove what we are subscribed to.

What a way to buff! You can be anywhere,be alerted to a job in a city of your choice,listen to it on a scanner app,then see pix of it live from the BNN app! And then even get directions to it if you want to take it in! Beats hell out of the old days. Thanks BNN for a job well done!
