Ratings and Reviews
I like it but missing a sets instructions
I was building a thing out of one of my sets for a yt vid but I ran out of pieces and I checked this app for the extra pieces and the pieces didn’t show up and the instructions weren’t there I found more sets like this too
Close to perfect
This app is close to perfect for what I’m looking for in an app to track my Lego collection. I love that I can get down to the parts level of each set, and the wishlist function is awesome.
Some things that I would love to see is a toggle for the set to indicate whether I’ve built it before or not, and to associate images with the set, like a custom image of my build. I also wish it would have an option to mark all parts as found, for the instances where I have a brand new set.
The only other thing was that I couldn’t get the send feedback option in settings to fire, so I wrote this review instead.
Underwhelming Database
This is a very basic database. It is free, I'll give them that, but sometimes you get what you pay for. There's no sort or filter capability beyond Own or Want. There's no way to sort or filter sets by set name, series, set number, or build status. The grid view is the only option, because there's no list view, the basis for all databases.
The first item I tried to list, the Yellow Castle, #375, was not in the database. Okay, that's understandable because it's one of the oldest sets around and most young collectors wouldn't have it. But worse that that, it gave me a different set, with 375 pieces, as a substitute.
I also did a search on the Modular Buildings collection and it came up blank. Same for Modular Buildings, and Modular Collection. When I cut the criteria to just Modular, it gave me 11 sets to choose from (including a Modular Space Transport), but not one of them was a set from the Modular Buildings collection.
Thanks but no thanks, I'll stick to my own sortable and searchable database.
