Ratings and Reviews
works just as intended.
I'm a sucker for high brightness and this just let me go to the max this display can do without the HDR content restriction.
If you're worried that perhaps extremely high brightness may affect your display overtime. There can be slick hall for concern but Apple has various built-in software mechanics that prevent sustained high brightness like this to ever become a real issue.
Amazing for being free! but,
I think it's great and all, but betterdisplay has this extra brightness built into the brightness menu as if it was built-in to the mac instead of using a gui. it also used the brightness button on the keyboard. Betterdisplay is also a paid app, so can't complain to this app.
I shouldn't have waited for the free "trial"
When this went free with a 3 day trial, I was stoked. I installed it and it worked beautifully. When the trail expired, I tried to purchase it through the "store" inside of the app, but it refuses to connect. My firewall shows no blocking of traffic between my mac and the outside, and it won't work while tethered to my phone, either. I uninstalled and re-installed, and I still just get the spinning "loading" circle inside the store portion of the application. The "restore In-app purchase" and "Revalidate App Purchase" buttons do nothing, either.
Developer Response ,
Hello, we are sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately this issue is out of our hands as it relates to the connection with the App Store. Usually this problem can be fixed by closing BrightIntosh and restarting the MacBook. We hope you will give us another chance and feel free to contact us if there are further issues.
