This app was developed by senior Stone McLaren in Brimmer's Application Development course. It is designed to help students learn African geography and serves as a study aid for students in various courses. The app tests your ability to correctly identify and properly spell African countries. When you explore the app, you'll notice handy features such as the ability to skip to the end of the quiz and feedback at the end telling you which countries you did not correctly identify. Enjoy!

The (Brimmer) gator was getting upset, so we made some minor tweaks to keep him in line.

This quiz app is great for anyone trying to learn African geography, but no matter how I spell Côte d’Ivoire it tells me it’s wrong! I’d also like it if I could turn the noises off while I’m listening to music, the sound effects are really annoying and not at all helpful. It would also probably be better for retention if all the maps of Africa were to scale, lots of them are distorted and stretched and it makes it harder to identify the shape of the country on a map. Otherwise I’m happy to have a native app to practice on, so I’m glad this app exists.
